MP's Military Service

I figured that when it came to MPs and military service, the Tories would lead the pack, and I was right. But the runner up was a bit of a shock.

Conservative MPs who have served: 7
NDP MPs who have served: 2
Liberal MPs who have served: 1

(note I moved Wajid Khan over to the Conservatives, although he was elected as an Liberal originally)

I always wondered why Bill Blaikie was the only NDP MP I could name with somewhat sensible opinions on the military. I guess this shows why!

In light of the way the media and the University prof with a comfy tenure are treating our gals and guys…how about a blog burst or something to counter it? Red Friday BIGTIME…to welcome home the troups that just came back from Afganistan…where are they?(I think they arrived in Halifax earlier this week) Who are they? How are they?
Pffft! to the media for the welcome home they got!What can we do?
