Eco-Fascists Think Killing Children Who Are Not Interested In Fighting Climate Change Is Funny

There is not much I need to say about this.  You need only watch the first two or three minutes of this (or have seen the original video which was 4 minutes of extremely graphic video) to get the impression.

Now below is the original video in it’s entirety. I urge anyone with a weak stomach or with children nearby to not watch this. It is VERY graphic.

All I can say is that this group 10:10 and the people involved in making or airing this video are officially screwed in the head. To imply that children or people who are not interested in believing that we need to change our lifestyles to fight global warming should be blown up is simply wrong. There are no two ways about it.

When Ideology Is Imposed On The Private Sector We Get Garbage

Charles Krauthammer, one of the smartest (and best dressed) men in America chimes in on the Chevy Volt.

“The only people who are going to buy it are going to be very rich people who are going to park it outside their townhouse for ostentatious show of how virtuous they are while they drive around in their Cadillac Escalade”

Let’s compare:

Chevy Volt – 64km on a single charge from a government owned big three car maker in business since 1908 which is comparable to the….

Zenn Motor Company LSV – which also gets 64km on a single charge from a small independent Canadian company that just went public in 2006.

Stepping up we have the Nissan Leaf which can go 160km on a charge.

But the big boy on the block is still high tech startup Tesla Motors.  The Tesla Roadster is a Lotus-like all electric sports car with high speed , hot acceleration and about 400km per charge but it costs quite a bit.  So Tesla is releasing their Model S (sedan) in 2012 with similar performance at a price point around $50,000.

Ontario Liberals creating further Eco Fee Ass Co.

$5M of our money to keep Eco Fee Ass Co. going.

Why is everyone celebrating?  There was NO win for taxpayers yesterday when the Liberals put a 3 month moratorium on the new Eco Fee.   A fee that turns out to be the biggest tax grab in our provincial history which is a pretty lofty achievement considering the previous two biggest tax grabs were just put in by our Liberals with their health levy a few years ago and the new HST.

At the same time they announced this moratorium, they committed a further $5M out of our regular taxes until an assessment of this ridiculous tax grab is made.  I would go so far as to say that this is meant to appease complainers like me in hopes I will forget that in three months the moratorium will expire and the program will likely be slipped in under the radar again.

So now instead of taxing us at the till, we are being taxed from general revenues to fund a program that needs assessment.   Think about that.  They admit it needs assessment.  Yet they still continue to fund it.   Why do we always end up losing out?  Why can’t they just put a halt on the program outright?

OfficiallyScrewed … again.

ADDENDUM

Lowell Green on CFRA brings up a good point.  Why are we paying a further $5M while assessing this?  Stewardship Ontario has a reserve fund close to $73 Million invested in GICs, Money Market and Bonds which are part of their assets. From Stewardship Ontario’s own website financials.

Below is the Balance Sheet indicating how the assets. (note the comment on Investments)

Below is their statement of variance.  Note how much money they spend in a year and mostly on our Blue Box program.  I always thought my municipal taxes paid for blue box programs.

And now the kicker.  Where the $72+ Million in Investements are.  Completely liquid assets.  So instead of taking a minor hit on the interest and selling $5M of investments, the stinking Liberal McGuintyites are taking the $5M from our general tax revenue when they have completely liquid assets.

Goretesque: A Definition

Goretesque: adj. To portend to be an environmentalist and then buy your 4th mansion. ex. “Muffy and Bif are so Goretesque. They just bought an $8.875M home in Montecito as a getaway from their getaway in the French riviera.”

adv.Goretesquely. ex. “He Goretesquely railed against rising oil prices from the front seat of his H3 Hummer.”

Al Gore's newest playpen. You too can have one for $8.875 Million

Looks Like Someone In White House Is Paying Attention To OfficiallyScrewed

Drill Obama Drill

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama’s call Wednesday to expand offshore oil and gas drilling — as close as 125 miles off Florida’s coast — angered environmentalists in the state and left some Florida Democrats looking to distance themselves from the plans.

And it was only 4 days ago that I (once again) called for the U.S. President to STOP paying for oil produced without environmental concerns when he can drill locally in North America and use oil produced under far better environmental conditions.

Environazi’s are you paying attention??

My Dedication To Earth Hour – U.S. Should Drill Baby Drill And Fix Debt To GDP Ratio

Fiscal prudence has gone out the window south of the border.

President Obama’s fiscal 2011 budget will generate nearly $10 trillion in cumulative budget deficits over the next 10 years, $1.2 trillion more than the administration projected, and raise the federal debt to 90 percent of the nation’s economic output by 2020, the Congressional Budget Office reported Thursday.

Meanwhile back at home in Canada as recent as a month ago…

“Canada’s net debt-to-GDP ratio is the lowest in the G7 economies,” said Scotiabank president and chief executive officer Rick Waugh back in February 2009. “Even with the Canadian government’s recently announced stimulus package taken into account, the net debt to GDP will remain under 30 per cent.”

With the price of oil heading north, a quick fix for the devaluation of the American dollar is to drill baby drill.

I’m just saying…

This Is Not Al Gore's Dog, Because Surely This Dog Would Welcome Global Warming

With record cold in the southern USA, plenty of snow in London, and other weird weather trends hitting us, I just thought I would point out that this is not new. Back in the beginning of December I was in Mexicali, Mexico and one morning while driving from the hotel to work, I saw this and managed to snap a shot with my BlackBerry.

Ottawa Green Bins A Waste For Waste

Today the City of Ottawa began green bin collection of compostable household waste. This green bin now compliments the blue bin and black bin in my garage, as well as the (currently green) trash bin I use.

But the logic of this program fails me. Here’s an example.

The current black box program takes many things. It takes magazines (which are paper), newspapers (which are paper), shredded paper (which is surprisingly … paper), fine paper (guess what this is made of?), and books (which other than an Amazon Kindle is more paper), boxboard (which is the thicker paper your cereal boxes and other items are made of), gift wrapping paper (again more paper) and finally, egg cartons (which are a thicker version of newsprint paper).

The black box is ALSO for unsoiled pizza boxes which is a form of thicker (often corrugated) paper.

The new green bin program now accepts soiled pizza boxes. Ergo it can process cardboard. Ergo it can process paper. Ergo it can process EVERYTHING that the black box program accepts.

So why the heck didn’t they just have the black bin program accept the stuff we can compost on top of what it already takes? (or why not just have the green bin take the black bin products too and eliminate the black bin altogether?)

The lunacy of it all amazes me. The new green bin program is costing us about $90 per ton tipping fees to the company that was signed up to do this for 20 more years. The old tipping fees for standard trash were under $40 per ton. That’s getting officially screwed.

All I need now is a brown bin (for my dog waste), an orange bin (for my fall leaves), a red bin (for my meat scraps) and I can put a rainbow of trash out every week. Simply lovely.

Should David Suzuki Be Jailed? He Should If We Listen To David Suzuki

February 7th, 2008 National Post article quoting David Suzuki.

What I would challenge you to do is to put a lot of effort into trying to see whether there’s a legal way of throwing our so-called leaders into jail because what they’re doing is a criminal act” said Dr. Suzuki, a former board member of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association.

“It’s an intergenerational crime in the face of all the knowledge and science from over 20 years.”

As we now know, the earth is in a cooling trend. This now begs the question “How many people in 3rd world countries died because of the push by environmentalists from gas to ethanol which drove up the price of corn?, A staple in so many countries where starvation is commonplace.

And if the answer to this question is 1 or more, should society demand the heads of those most involved in pushing false science down our throats? Should they be held criminally libel?
