I cannot help but think that someone in the Liberal Party must really have a hatred on for Stephane Dion. When I told a friend about this feeling, he quickly responded….”No Shift Sherlock!!”
In naming their new carbon tax a “green shift”, it became quite clear that someone within the Liberal Party has “shift for brains”. I mean let’s look at this seriously.

Bwahhhahhhhahhhhahhhhahhhhhaaaaaaa. For real??? Another GST??? I wonder what kind of “shift” the Liberals were smoking when they came up with this name? When the Gomery commission was going on, Conservatives thought it was the gift that kept on giving. This GST2 is going to be an even bigger gift.
I am simply dumbfounded to think that there wasn’t a single person in the Liberal Party who did not notice this acronym. To top it all off, there is now talk of a lawsuit because the name GreenShift is already taken. Uh Oh!! Somebody really stepped in it this time.
I was further amazed when people immediately starting calling it “the Green Shaft”. It took less than 24 hours for opposition parties to come up with this new nickname. Surely over the past few weeks/months that the Liberal plan was being developed there was a single Liberal somewhere…anywhere, that could have seen this coming from a mile away. If not, then I would think they really are not ready to run a nation.
If we weren’t sure saboteurs existed before, we sure are now. I think this may be an interesting summer to sit back and watch the “shift hit the fan” within the Liberal Party.

I knew I was being too optimistic when I hoped to encounter some sort of adult debate here…instead I find nothing but more of the same juvinile responses from supporters of a man who has such a limited vocabulary that his response to a carbon tax is that it would “screw everyone”.
If you think that just because someone is a liberal that they think this carbon tax is a good idea, then you’ve been misinformed. But apparently there is no one here with a mentality beyond the age of 12 to have a real discussion about the matter.

Remember you showed how you debate things by insulting our intelligence. All we did is respond to your comments with the same attitude. You do not start a debate by name calling for you will receive the same respect you give others …. In this case you do not want a debate about the new GST but insult others just like a LIEberal.
I am not part of any political party but LIEberals like you do not want a debate but argument.
Now if you want a debate then state your concerns without insults and you will be surprised how other bloggers here will treat you like an adult instead of a LIEberal.

Platy, well at least we tried to have a civalized conversation, yet, Jenn just doesn’t get it. To bad she might have had something worth while to say. When she graduates from potty-training then perhaps she will have a different attitude.
I have had several debates with LIEberals and they never had Jenn’s attitude.
Any time she pretends to be adult about the new name of Green Shift Tax I’m sure we would debate with her. Until she grows up I guess we will have to put up with her attitude … to bad she probably has something to say without insulting those who wish to debate.

and what patry GOT MY VOTE to abolish/change it? LIEberals. It was the most hated tax and Brian M. paid for it dearly – 2 seats. They deserved it.
Lets face it, the LIEberals are the biggest promise breakers in Canadian history … eg. DeYawn did not cut GHG emissions, but under his watch it went up 30%. How he can use enviroment as a strong point is beyand me … I guess it is true: “If you tell a lie enough, people will believe it.” And those that usually believe it are those who forgot how to think.
