David Suzuki Foundation Hides Poll Results

Their was a poll on the David Suzuki Foundation website that I blogged about here.

As of mid day Sunday, they had removed this poll from their site and the speculation is that the results did not match what their site supports. As Steve Janke points out, for a scientist like Suzuki to not show results that don’t match his expectations is, simply put, a sin against science.

The image below is the results as of 5:50 am EST Monday March 5th.

Suzuki Poll Results 3

What I especially like is that the code can be put on other sites. So I urge you all to continue voting if you have not voted already.

Hiding results that don’t match your expectations is rule 1 in the climate change hand book.

So we blog about a poll, get Conservatives to vote more than once by clearing your computers `cache, and complain about it being taken down when we mess with the results….

“get Conservatives to vote more than once by clearing your computers `cache”…

Amazing how the lefties always accuse others of somehow messing with the results when they don’t see the results they were hoping for, however, if they would take their collective heads out of the sand, they would see what Canadians are now seeing.

Suzuki is just another shill with a message, and a cause, that has now blown up in his face. Do stick with it though Davie boy, the green egg is looking good on your face.

    Suzuki used professional polling software.

    “Multiple votes restrictions
Set up your polls to be voted multiple times or just once to prevent users to vote multiple times on polls that can only be voted once.
    IP and Cookies Tracking
Use IP or cookies to restrict users from voting multiple times”

Blame his people for not setting it up correctly. the easiest way to keep numbers as accurate as possible is too only allow one vote per IP. No fuss, no cache, no problems.

They way they conducted the poll allows them the puff up their own numbers.

Nice try except Suzuki and gang used professional polling software Absolute Poll Manager XE 4.1

    which allows
    Multiple votes restrictions
Set up your polls to be voted multiple times or just once to prevent users to vote multiple times on polls that can only be voted once.
    IP and Cookies Tracking
Use IP or cookies to restrict users from voting multiple times

Suzuki either set the poll incorrectly in the first place or set it up properly, when things didn’t go the right way for him, changed to allow multiple voting to use as an excuse.

    Blame Suzuki

This is ridiculous. I’ve seen this item, plus about 100 others, that are all talking about Kyoto and climate change bullsh*t. I hope everybody is writing their MP and the PM and letting them know that Harper should be standing up in the HoC and making sure everyone knows that climate change is garbage. How much longer is everyone going to wait?!? This is going to be a monkey on the CPCs back unless Harper sets the record straight about where he and his supporters stand!!! It’ll be used as a club to beat on the Conservative party when everything backfires and Harper is seen as the one that initiated it!!! C’mon you guys, Harper needs to speak up now!

I get it. Everyone’s a pu**y. Does anyone really believe what they say here?

I want to hear from D. Suzuki himself on this one. Surely, there must have been some problems with the poll but matched with what one blogger referred to as his “bio-cidal” bus, this is an unfortunate bit of publicity for him.

Well the poll is now officially taken off their site as indicated by the “no polls available” in the post above. Of note, whomever set up their software should know that the plural of poll is not poll’s. (just getting my last dig in)

David Suzuki takes money from the Rockefeller Brothers Trust. Lots of funding from left-wing sources. If he stops pushing the agenda – no money.

David Suzuki is Canada’s Al Gore.
