The bottom line is that the only party with any money in its’ coffers is the Tories. The other parties aren’t upset at the ads. They are just upset that they can’t afford ads themselves.
The new $1000 maximum donation will hit the Liberal and NDP coffers dramatically, whereas the Tories are flush with $25 and $50 donations from thousands and thousands of supporters.

The big unions never really liked the Tories. We’re now seeing that the “little guy” does.

Interesting point, Matt. If the unions can’t donate $$$ to the Dippers and big business can’t donate $$$ to the Grits, each party will have to find a way to reconnect with the grass roots. This could be really fun to watch!!
Another interesting point is how quickly the MSM decided any ad being produced by the Conservatives must be an attack ad… quickly echoed by the Libloggers and Rabble. Before the ads even hit the air, they were convinced it was an all-out attack.
To my consideration, it’s a sad statement on our MSM when the Conservatives have to take out ads to tell the people what the MSM are too biased to relate.

Each time the MSM or Opposition does something to really piss me off I donate to the CPC. Last year it came to $300. So the CPC got $300, CRA will give me $225 (75%) back in a month or so and I’m only out $75. Such a deal! Donate and donate often. It doesn’t hurt that much.
