Liberals Flopping Like A Dying Fish On The Deck Of A Boat

I’m getting pretty tired of the flip flopping.

The Liberals WILL endorse the budget. Either some or all of them. They can’t trust that every Tory and every Dipper and Garth will vote for it.

And despite their sabre rattling, we all know they won’t take down the government.

I hope Jack Layton gives his dippers a free vote on the budget. I really do. I also hope the Clean Air act negotiations do NOT take us back in to Kyoto.

The Liberals are such bad poker players. The latest example was their caucus session yesterday, when the Hawkes and the Doves went on camera, revealing their takes on whether to force an early election. Meanwhile, does anyone know Harper’s REAL intentions ? Harper loves surprises, so Dion can expect something in the budget that will make life difficult for him. There’s no way he can control the many “independent” Liberal MPs who will get re-elected based on their own personal appeal, and needing nothing of Dion’s “coattails”.

    Dion makes Martin look decisive.
I for one can’t wait for an election, after the English debate it’s majority city.
Dion is niether as intelligent nor as good at conveying ideas through words as Prime Minister Harper.(or for that matter understandable in English)
I fully expect Dion to throw a tantrum for the whole country to watch.

Ahh yes, the English language debate … something ALL Liberals are looking forward to … NOT ! When
ALL of Dion’s weaknesses will be on display for the non-junkies to see. Nevermind Dion’s mangled English, there’s also his revealing facial expressions, body language, awkward movements. And the guy just can’t think fast on his feet. Compare all this to Harper, and its no contest. Remember how cooly Harper swatted away Martin’s “bombshell” re eliminating the Notwithstanding clause in the last debate ?

I want an election ASAP…If the medias are showing Dion’s Liberal as bold and plastering semi bogus “polls” in their favour that can only mean that Dion and co. are NOT ready for an election and they are trying to scare Harper into diluting his budget to extend his government life so that:
    – The Taliban can have time to start their scheduled spring offensives on our soldiers. (Try to read witout cringing: Death of more Canadians might help Liberals attain power…)
    – That hopefully a summer heat wave can reenergise the global warming ‘factor’.

All and all, they need cash and time…Even if the polls seem favorable to him Dion knows better.
I should’nt worry though, Harper knows even better…ELECTION NOW STEPHEN!

Tories have to toe the party line for the budget while all other votes can be free votes. — John M Reynolds

Stephane Dion flipped again this morning on the Bill Good Show cknw.com at 9:24 PST he said he didn’t know if he’d support the budget or not because he hadn’t seen it yet.
