U.N. Soldier Says Hezbollah Using Them As Shields

When the CBC let’s this on the air, you know they must be feeling the anti-MSM pressure.

We received emails from him a few days ago, and he was describing the fact that he was taking fire within, in one case, three meters of his position for tactical necessity, not being targeted. Now that’s veiled speech in the military. What he was telling us was Hezbollah soldiers were all over his position and the IDF were targeting them. And that’s a favorite trick by people who don’t have representation in the UN. They use the UN as shields knowing that they can’t be punished for it.

Problem is the majority John Q Public will just hear how Israel was, is and did bomb UN positions. Furthermore the necessity of such gutless battle field tactics by Hezbollah gets lost in the haze of pre 11 pm nap time.

Check out today’s National Post for a stinging editorial about Kofi Annan!

Forget the National Post Joanne. If you were EVER going to listen to Lowell Green, today is the day. I think he is about to start a revolution within Canada.

it was VERY feisty with a lot of citizens calling in saying they supported Hezbollah. I just hope that CSIS or the RCMP collect up the numbers that called in for investigation because sending money to Hezbollah is a 10 year criminal offence in Canada (i think).

Wow! I wonder why the support for Hezbollah? I’ll bet Lowell Green wasn’t too pleased!

Joanne, the support for Hezbollah is here in Canada because we let people bring their baggage from other countries. But Lowell’s right leaning callers were clearly making a point that this kind of baggage is rarely there from Europeans, just from the Middle East and I agree. I know my folks had no issues with Turks and Greece and Turkey were at war for decades. I went to school with a good friend who was Turkish and worked 5 summers in a factory with a small group of Turks that were the best bunch of guys. They were highly religious Muslims but the nicest folks who would give you the shirt of their backs.

It’s when the baggage includes hatred and malice that bothers me. If people are this supportive of Hezbollah and live in Canada, then I say go back to southern Lebanon, Syria or Iran where the enthusiasm for this group is strong and they would be welcomed with open arms and handed a gun. Canada is not a country of hate but one of peace.

Yes, if we could somehow get them to leave their emotional baggage at the border before they enter, that would be the ideal.

I read that at LGF this morning. I had a neighbour get his fence spray painted with anti-Semitic comments here in suburban Kanata about 4 years ago so it isn’t new. It’s just getting more violent.
