Laim Stream Media Not Telling Whole Truth

A big thank you to Brian Lilley for doing the dirty work that all the other news media outlets failed to do when it comes to the robodialling accusations flying these days.

Brian did his homework and has dug up a gem that no one else seems to be pointing out. The Elections Canada report that investigates all the shenanigans reported regarding the election and election day includes the following quote:

There was no conduct reported that would bring into question the integrity of the election result overall or the result in a particular riding. Although misconduct was reported in several ridings, there is no complaint that it affected the final result. There is some speculation in the media that the dirty tricks may have affected the result in some close contests.

So the same report cited by news agencies used to call the robocalling problems a scandal clearly states that none of the 191 pages of reported problems would have changed the results. And furthermore, the report only discusses robocalling on 3 of those pages.

I would be very interested to know of ALL the shenanigans reported, how many occurred in ridings won by the various parties in a scoresheet format. Let’s look at the WHOLE election and ALL the shenanigans and figure out where the most problems occurred.

And once again, Kudo’s to Mr. Lilley. He does the true work that so many other reporters fail to do and he gives us the facts the other reporters fail to notice.

Call a by-election in Guelph immediately. It seems to be the most affected riding. Illegal polls, stolen boxes & Robo-calls.

This seems to be a case of them seeing what they want to see in order to make a case that Harper could not have won that election fairly.

Let’s hope this thing gets sorted out – let’s start looking at ALL the parties and stop chasing rabbits down the one rabbit hole they want it to be.

Dave. What proof do you have of any of that. Sona said that while he was accused of stealing poll boxes, he never did. Was that another fabrication with no proof? Even the Robo calls seems to be a bit sketchy at this point. And would the Libs really want to call a by election there – they won?

Guelph is currently held by the Liberals. I say give them what they want and then work like hell to steal it from them. This might make them think twice about creating the next scandal. Plus, I would have an ear to ear grin until the next election if we could steal the seat from the Liberals.

This one sentence by the Thunder Bay call centre employee tell a lot for, the reason calls were reported being from “elections Canada”. Why is the media and the opposition covering this one up(except where it was in a Toronto Star newspaper)Her comment below

Desgagné, alone, said some workers shortened their script — although they weren’t supposed to — and said “… I’m calling from Elections Canada …”

I would have a bigger grin if we could steal Layton’s seat.
Seems libs think only by-elections should be called where they lost. Cotler also won, he should be thanking those calls instead of condemning them, he might have lost without them.

And another thing. How many people got one of these calls and ACTUALLY MISSED VOTING. All these people coming forward. Collect their names and then compare it to the voters list. It would be interesting to see.

    Mary T. @ 10:30.

Probably what all this fuss is about. Why else would the Liberals wait 10 months to go on the attack. Maybe the internal polling is showing they are in trouble and they are trying to manipulate the vote back in their favor.

Perhaps, the NDP want more $$ in their leadership race and the Libs want more $$ in their war chest!!

It really is time to move on and discuss something meaningful. With all of the killing going on in this world, the near collapse of the EU financial system, Obama’s selling out Israel…surely we have can find something of value to talk about! I get tired of reading crap from amateur political hacks who rant for the sake of ranting! No, we will not have another election in the near future so it’s time to accept the results of the last one.

Isn’t the fact that all the provincial trade ministers and Minister Ed Fast are in agreement with the EU free trade initiative not huge news? Doesn’t appear to be… I haven’t come across any columns on this news as yet.
