Also, thanks to my Canadian cousin by marriage who was dropped by parachute behind enemy lines in the Korean “police action”. He was dropped there accidently and with a stove in order to prepare dinner for the advancing Canadian troops. Fortunately the Canadians Infantry did succeed to advance in that skirmish and had a good meal awaiting them.
