Hyundai and Kia Owners – ALERT TO CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT

Being the owner of a Hyundai, I was quite surprised to find out that about a week ago the company (and it’s Kia subsidiary) announced that they had been overstating mileage claims on many vehicles manufactured between 2011 and 2013.

They will be reimbursing people who purchased specific models but there is also a class action lawsuit filed against them. I supposed this is to make sure they reimburse consumers appropriately.

I would encourage anyone who purchased one of the affected vehicles to join the suit.

Fred, how wrong you are. Businesses should not be allowed to succeed based on false claims to their customers and not be expected to a) compensate customers not receiving the promised claim or b) be forced to at least make legitimate claims.

If you disagree with this, OfficiallyScrewed.com is offering anyone who donates $10 or more from this website $5000 in gas cards. The “Donate” button is just to the right side of this page.

What about those of us that purchased 2005 and forward. The gas mileage was away overstated then as well.

I ask the same question as the other David. I have a 2007 Sonata sport , I am very happy with the car but the mileage sucks. What can we do?
